Night Vision -Tactical Lanyard System

The Night Vision – Tactical Lanyard System is designed to prevent the loss of the AN/PVS-14A mounted to helmets using PASGT/MICH/ACH and Ops-Core VAS mounting plates. It relies on a proven, two piece system running a snap-hook tethered to the optic with elastic cord and anchoring to a D-ring on the helmet. The hardware is simple, robust and non-mechanical, leaving very little that can break or go wrong. All the components are replaceable and meant to be easily switched out if damaged. The low profile D-ring is robust and unobtrusive when not in use. Durable elastic cord keeps the assembly under elastic tension to reduce snag hazards. Compatibility is strictly limited to AN/PVS-14A Mil-spec housing with standard PASGT/MICH/ACH and Ops-Core VAS mounts as pictured.

Enhanced Strap Keepers.

Description: The Enhanced Strap Keepers retain goggles on a ballistic helmet by utilizing the foliage slots. Taking advantage of gear currently in the system, the Strap Keepers can be positioned anywhere there is a foliage slot on the helmet cover and require no tools to install. The ends are simply pulled through the foliage slots in the helmet cover until a piece of perpendicular webbing prevents further movement, locking it into place. The robust Strap Keepers are sewn to ride flat against the helmet to minimize snagging hazards and come in Coyote Brown, appropriate for both woodland and desert MARPAT digital camouflage patterns. The durable brass snaps, color coated to match the webbing secure the goggles and allow them to be easily attached or removed. The loop (Velcro) material on the Strap Keepers’ exterior gives them the ability support identifiers and markers such as infrared IFF “glint” squares or luminescent, glow in the dark “cat eyes.” An additional loop (Velcro) strip has been sewn into the interior of the Strap Keepers in to allow markers and identifiers to be stored when not in use or when they are inappropriate.

Tactical Holster Platform -Safariland.

Description: The Belt Hanger provides a means of adding a quick disconnect capability with an ergonomic range of motion to a drop holster system. Utilizing a pair of Tactical Tailor MALICE Clips, the Drop Rig Belt Hanger achieves stability by spacing the MALICE Clips apart in a wide footprint with an increased surface area over the belt. While the MALICE Clips can accommodate a variety of regular belt systems, because they pass through a series of 1″ webbing loops, they can also be properly woven in and attached to PALS/MOLLE platforms. The robust and proven National Molding Swivi-Lockster provides the quick disconnect capability that is at the heart of the Drop Rig Belt Hanger. The center mounted, single point buckle releases at the push of the latch and clips easily back into place. The only one of it’s kind, the Swivi-Lockster features a 120 degree arcing range of motion allowing it to pivot naturally over the hip as the wearer moves. The Direct Mount Option is a Drop Rig Belt Hanger with a 2″ wide hip extender sewn directly onto the buckle and cut it to a requested length. Essentially a blank slate over which the holster can be precisely positioned, it leaves the customer free to decide exactly where to place the holes to align the holster platform.

QASM Vertical Connector

The QASM Vertical Connector uses a webbing component specially designed to slot into both ends of the ITW Nexus Quick Attach Surface Mount. Passing the webbing component under a PALS loop and locking it down gives the buckle a perpendicular orientation. The applications are numerous.

Down Range Gear 5637

QASM Vertical Connector Belt Adapter

This variant of the QASM Vertical Connector allows the mounting of ITW Nexus Quick Attach Surface Mount buckles on belts up to 2”. A strip of hook (Velcro) material allows it to lock solidly on to compatible belt interiors. The buckle hugs the belt closely for a low profile attachment point that barely drops below the edge.

QASM Vertical Connector For TRL Lanyard (Kit)

The combination of (one each) the QASM Vertical Connector and QASM Vertical Connector Belt Adapter for the GEMTECH Tactical Retention Lanyard* provides users with alternatives for the OEM PALS webbing and belt attachments with the benefit of a simpler system, fewer parts and a lower profile.

PALS Shock Cord Anchor 1

The proprietary PALS Shock Cord Anchor allows 1” ITW Nexus GhillieTex Side Release buckles to be run off a standard PALS loop as an alternative to conventional webbing straps. The applications include horizontal stabilization and attachment of light packs or chest rigs on MOLLE surfaced armor. The webbing “anchor” slides under 1” PALS webbing and has loops at either end to support shock cord. Heavy duty elastic cord keeps gear under constant elastic tension eliminating the need to make adjustments when donning or dropping gear. Interchangeable, two piece body/ latch buckle sets are included to ensure compatibility with different buckle orientations.

Raider Direct-To-Armor Panel.

A new breed chest rig that attaches directly to an underlying armor system, using it as a load bearing platform. The Raider Panel does not ship with a harness, trading standalone function for Direct-To-Armor efficiency. Using only four simple points of attachment, the Raider Panel’s distinctive shape distributes the load evenly across the surface, allowing for a quick disconnect capability but integrating to the underlying armor system when attached. Available in several sizes, all Raider Panels have internal storage capabilities and flat pockets sewn into the reverse side for better organization. Ships with a full set of QASM Vertical Connectors, ITW G-hooks and a GTSR/QASM combination with spares of all cord and hardware.

Chest Rig/ Armor Interface Kit.

The Chest Rig/ Armor Interface Kit is a complete mounting solution for attaching chest rigs to a MOLLE compatible armor system. It combines multiple components to facilitate both vertical support and horizontal stabilization. The Kit includes: (1 pair) QASM Vertical Connector, (2 pair) PALS Shock Cord Anchors, (4) ITW QASM buckles to give the end user multiple configuration options.

Down Range Gear 8517

Chest Rig/ Armor Interface 1″ Quick Attach

The Chest Rig/ Armor Interface 1” Quick Attach kit uses 1” hardware to provide chest rigs with 6 points of attachment directly to armor systems. It takes advantages of the ITW QASM buckle mounted on the armor carrier as a low profile way to clip in. This necessitates compatible hardware on the chest rig. 6 points of attachment are achieved by matching ITW 1” Latch and QASM paired sets to properly support the chest rig (4 for horizontal stabilization and 2 QASM Vertical Connector sets for vertical support.) The ITW 1” Split Bar Latch easily slides onto 1” webbing loops for no-tool installation and are provided for chest rigs that do not have a compatible buckle orientation.

Down Range Gear 7566

1″ Adjustable Side Straps

The Adjustable Side Straps route 1” webbing through an ITW Ladderloc for an ergonomic, forward pull to adjust. Slotted hardware allows for simple installation onto 1” PALS webbing. Cut short, for a range of adjustment from 1.5” to 8”, the excess is easily managed and stays out of the way. Suitable for a variety of applications from chest rig attachment to plate carrier closure to light pack stabilization. Interchangeable body/ latch buckle sets are included to increase versatility.

Down Range Gear 7705

1″ Basic Strap Kit

The 1” Basic Strap Kit is being made available for customers who simply need to attach a length of webbing and a buckle onto a PALS grid for any one of countless uses. The Basic Strap Kit is a short length of 1” webbing threaded through either an ITW Nexus Waveloc Latch or Waveloc Body, sewn into a Split Bar Triglide. The Triglide slots onto PALS webbing, securely anchoring the assembly. Sold in sets of two, they are simple and well made using quality components. 8” length of adjustment built in.

MALICE Clip Belt Stabilizer

The MALICE Clip Belt Stabilizer facilitates belt attachment of Tactical Tailor MALICE Clip* equipped pouches. Simply pass the MALICE Clip through the channels sewn into the Belt Stabilizer and then through the pouch, fold it over a belt and secure the ends with the locking tabs. The two column configuration will support a single rifle magazine pouch or two pistol magazine pouches in tandem. Velcro construction locks pouches solidly into compatible belts. Opposing hook and loop faces make it well suited for use with two tier, inner/ outer LE duty belt systems. Included, removable nonslip squares provide a friction hold on both sides of unlined belts. Compatible with belt widths up to 2”.

Down Range Gear 8621

CDH-Tac Lowride Panel

The Lowride Panel is a 2×5 solid PALS grid that folds over your belt in order to support MOLLE compatible pouches. 5 contiguous rows of PALS webbing allow a range of placement extending from belt height to a drop below the belt line to clear equipment. Surfaced with hook and loop material for a secure hold, the Lowride Panel interfaces well with two-tier inner/outer belt systems. Internally reinforced to support mounted pouches. Hinged design allows compatibility with a wide variety of belt widths. The Lowride Panel is a CDH-Tac Finland design manufactured in the USA under license by Down Range Gear.

PALS Belt Platform

The PALS Belt Platform was designed to fully support a modular pouch on a belt. Conventional, strap based, MOLLE compatible attachment systems require a pouch be properly woven into a webbing grid for secure and solid attachment. The PALS Belt Platform does this with two 1″ webbing loops which, when folded over a belt, provide a familiar row-gap-row configuration for attachment. The belt itself provides the underlying structure. Woven in and with the ends secured, the pouch is as secure as on any PALS grid. Stability on the belt is achieved with opposing hook and loop faces to lock into a Velcro lined belt. Two nonslip patches provide increased friction for belts without Velcro interfaces. The PALS Belt Platform will support 1-1/2″ and 1-3/4″ belts only at this time.

Down Range Gear 9276

Horizontal Belt Adapter

The Horizontal Belt Adapter makes it possible to mount 2 column, MOLLE compatible pouches parallel to the axis of the belt. 1″ webbing loops slide over the belt and, spaced at 1″ intervals, form a PALS grid onto which pouches can be woven. The 2 column design will support rifle magazine pouches at belt height. Velcro patches lock into compatibly lined belts. 3 webbing loops are provided with each set to support most typical pouch heights. Designed for belt specific widths of 1-1/2″, 1-3/4″ and 2″.

Down Range Gear 7598

Dynamic Strap System Adjustable 1” Lateral Straps

The Dynamic Strap System Lateral Straps were designed to function as drop in replacements for conventional 1” webbing. The slotted ITW Ladderloc anchors the Straps onto PALS webbing, configuring the straps for a smart, ergonomic, front pull to cinch down. Shock cord sheathed in tubular nylon maintains elastic tension while allowing expansion for a wider range of movement. Designed specifically for use with plate carriers, each pair of Lateral Straps ships with interchangeable ITW Nexus Split Bar Body/ Latch buckle sets to mitigate compatibility issues. Range of adjustment is 7.5” to 19.5”

Down Range Gear 7675

Dynamic Strap System Basic 1” Waist Strap

The proprietary Dynamic Strap System is a drop-in replacement/upgrade for 1” chest rig waist straps. The Basic Waist Strap was designed around a simple concept: set webbing length for the amount of stretch/ tension you need and never adjust it again. Conventional 1″ webbing is augmented by a shock cord core sheathed in tubular nylon. Two 1” ITW Triglides take up excess webbing and secure loose ends. The Basic Waist Strap does not ship with any other attachment or adjustment hardware. The user adds only the parts necessary. Elastic tension keeps gear tight, eliminates the need for constant adjustment and provides flexibility and range of motion conventional webbing straps can’t match . Range of adjustment is 8” to 38”

Safariland 6004 Thumb Break Kit

The 6004 Thumb Break Kit gives Safariland tactical holster users a snap based alternative to the standard SLS rotating hood. The Thumb Break Kit attaches to the holster body using existing holes and mounting hardware. Installation does not permanently alter the holster. Reinforced nylon webbing construction and a rigid thumb break release cleanly and re-engage with a positive snap. Note: due to specific holster widths and pistol dimensions, each Thumb Break Kit must be custom fit by the user (with access to a power tool grinding wheel required) or measured and sent back for final fitting.

Fitted Rifle Magazine Pouch.

Description: At just 3″ wide and 5″ tall, the pouch leaves the smallest possible footprint on your gear. Using 1000D Cordura fabric, the walls of the pouch itself are double layered and laminated for a very tough, wear resistant exterior. An HDPE insert reinforces the front, keeping it’s shape to prevent it from collapsing inward when trying to insert a magazine. Heavy duty webbing is used to fabricate the backing on which the pouch is built and supports a contoured PALS grid which will easily accept MALICE Clips or the third party attachment method of your choice. The Fitted Rifle Magazine Pouch was to designed to be small and low profile, achieving good, realistic retention and allow unencumbered access for a clean draw. In order to both retain the magazine yet allow easy access, the pouch is built to exactingly close tolerances. Each one is closely inspected and rebuilt if the finished product does not provide the right balance.

Fitted Pistol Magazine Pouch.

Description: Constructed to exacting tolerances, the Fitted Pistol Magazine Pouch strikes a fine balance between access and retention, individually built and hand fitted to specific pistol magazine models. Size and shape are strictly accounted to allow for a tight but serviceable fit. The pouch is simple and clean with good retention characteristics. A small HDPE plastic strip has been sandwiched in the cordura along the front (outer) surface of the pouch in order to keep it firm so that when reinserting the magazine, the feed lips don’t snag and collapse the edges in on the pouch. The front and side walls of the pouch are double layered cordura nylon laminated with an industrial strength adhesive. The pouch is built on a 1.5″ webbing backer that occupies a single, standard sized PALS column.

Modular Insert Holster.

Description: The Modular Insert Holster is a velcro backed, universal fit holster deliberately built from the ground up to be a complete, full featured holster system. Sized at 6” tall so that weapon sights won’t catch, and the pistol travels smoothly out of the holster on the draw. This holster will support a weapon mounted tactical light. Sewn into the broad, 4” wide back of the holster is a thick HDPE (plastic) backer which prevents the Velcro base of the from rolling or peeling away from the surface it’s mounted on. Holster Insert Lite.

The Holster Insert Lite is designed specifically to take advantage of the unique contour of a Glock pistol frame. It offers good retention and draw characteristics with reduced bulk. It is fast, secure and solidly built. With the holster body made largely of double layered, wide, heavy duty elastic webbing, it flexes around the pistol frame but has a structure that holds it’s shape so it doesn’t cling to the pistol. Retention is achieved through elastic tension, conforming to the pistol frame and hugging it securely. Because there is no thumb break, the draw is clean and unencumbered. The Holster Insert Lite was built from the ground up as a full featured, fully functional holster specifically for the EDC role.

Pistol Magazine Insert.

Description: Supports a single pistol magazine on a Velcro platform. The 1.5″ wide, plastic reinforced platform is surfaced with foam padding and covered with a nonslip material to help keep the magazine from slipping through. 3″ wide elastic webbing pulls the magazine tight against the backer where the magazine is compressed against the foam backer for solid retention.
